I just love working with vintage quilt. Its a nice way to repurpose. I never ever ever cut a good quilt. This is a great quilt, lots of darling red, blue and white fabrics. The reds have all the wear. This quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted. Awesome handwork.  He's a darling and measures more or less 18 inches. He's stuffed with poly fil and weighted with plastic pellets so he sits nicely.  He's fully jointed. Plastic buttons for eyes. Nose is a piece of wool which I handstitched over with black crochet cotton. Mouth is from the same thread. Coffee dyed and sanded. Handstamped tag. Signed. Truely a one of a kind. Handmade using a Gooseberry Hill design.
