The book is a Funk & Wagnalls New Standard Encyclopedia copyright 1931 and it isn't in the best of shape hence the covering. I covered the book using vintage ticking from my stash. I used spray adhesive to attach the ticking then I used thread and laced the ticking on the inside of the book. I coffee dyed which allowed the book to bleed thru a bit adding to its charm. Measuring 6 1/4 tall by 4 inches across and alittle more than 1 inch thick. I added a piece of twine with a old skeleton key.
