What a darling snowman I made from vintage quilt he's sitting on a new dinner bell which I antiqued and sealed with a matt sealer. Design by Bits of Cloth. The snowball is made from 4 pieces of old quilt that I machine stitched together then stuffed nicley with poly fil then I dry brushed with antique white craft paint. I slipped him down over the handle of the dinner bell and attached securly. I handstitched his face in place the eyes and mouth are french knots and his nose is from old quilt and stitched in place. His stove top hat is also from old quilt which after sewn I painted, sanded with sandpaper and stitched it in place. Scarf is also old quilt and is handstitched in place. I added a rusty star also. Coffee dyed. Hand stamped shipping tag reads Americana Winter on the other side is a stamped flag. Measures 9 inches tall and 3 inches wide at its base. No glue was used, everything is handstitched in its place. I made several and each is a one of a kind.
