Handpainted Americana Vintage Tin Lunch Box

As found vintage Handy Andy Dome Top Tin Lunch Box. Handpainted by me over 300+ stars. I just love Americana and I love how this piece turned out. I painted stars and stripes on a on all four side. After the paint dryed I handsanded to remove some of the paint, antiqued and sealed with a matt sealer. The matt sealer gives it a nice finish, just enough shine. The handle is a added bale handle the leather strap handle is long gone. Please note the metal strap holding the handle in place has also been replaced. This was a well used luch box. The bottom is marked Handy Andy MADE IN USA. I left the bottom unpainted tin so it looks pretty much looks like the inside does. Some rust inside and out. No thermos, but the metal strap is there to hold it in place. Please look closely to the photos. Great piece to add to your Americana collection or a nice time to start one. One of a kind. Measures 10.5 inches long by 10 inches high to the top of the handle by 4 3/4 wide. To keep clean please just wipe with a damp cloth.
