Candy Cane Wall Hanging

I used a candy cane pattern by Blackberry Bear. I wired two large candy canes together, added some greens and a rust colored star. The candy canes are made from muslin, painted then antiqued. Primitive Santa Pin

This primitive santa pin is a pattern by A Stitch In Time and measures about 4 1/2 inches top of hat to end of beard. Face is made of muslin, buttons eyes and a pinched nose. The Stockings Were Hung

Designed by A Stitch In Time this doll measures 20 inches. She is made from muslin with a handstitched face and black snaps for eyes. Hair is a lumpy bumpy yarn stitched in place. Dress is a green homespun with old lace trim and a large button tacked to front. Her apron is handstitiched with black floss and reads the stockings were hung by the chimney with care. Legs are of red ticking. The stockings are baby socks I dyed red and are attached to apron with two small cloth pins. Tea dyed. 1 available @ $39.95 each plus s/h.

A Few Of My Favorite Things

This is a cute piece. Made from a metal box grater. I added some greens, a muslin snowman, a quilt heart, candy cane, tin star, gingerbread man, and a flag which has been stiffened. Piece of red homespun tied around the grater. On the handle at the bottom there is enough room to hang a tea towel or whatever maybe a piece of your favorite fabric. This is the ornament the santa below is holding. Design is by Ragged Edge. Made from muslin, stuffed then covered with paper mache. Painted and antiqued then sealed. Olde World Santa

This is a great santa. He is a design by Ragged Edge. He is about 43 inches tall. His face is osanburg with a pinched nose. Eyes are warm and natural his pupil is blue felt. Mouth is red fleece. Beard is wool I got from a site from New Zealand. All are handstitched in place. Jacket is hand dyed burlap trimmed in fur. Belt and boots are muslin, painted then sanded. He sits nicely there is no stuffing in his legs. He has a dowel across his shoulders to help with his shape. Ornament is made from muslin then cover with paper mache and painted and sealed.
